Question by smartchick114: What precisely are “ethnic hair/skin care merchandise”?
I am sending care packages to soldiers overseas. Some of the African American female soldiers have requested ethnic skin and hair care goods. Seeing as I have to slather myself in SPF 50 ahead of greeting the sun and live in a fairly white-bread location, I have no concept what this indicates. What is the difference among ethnic hair merchandise and non-ethnic hair items?? And exactly where can I get ethnic hair and skin care products? Anyone want to assist a pale sister out?

Ethinic hair and skin products are ones made for people who are of darker decent.
You probably know that africain-americains have thicker courser hair than white people, which means they need different treatments for it. There are many product lines made specifically for this perpose. Any drug store should carry them. Skin care is probably darker make-up or mosturizers.
First off that is really nice of you to be sending care packages. Good job. Anyways if you go to Target or Harris Teeter ad go to the hair/skin care isle (ya know where they sell shampoo and stuff) there should be a whole section of ethnic beauty products. It should have a sign above it that says “ethnic hair care” or something like that. But ya ethnic products are just for African American people and stuff. Good luck!
